Refined palmolein firms up sustained demand

Refined palmolein firmed up further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on sustained demand from retailers.

While, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial eased on lower offtake from shippers and soap industries.

Rest, groundnutoil and linseed oil all maintained a stable trend in the absence of any major buying activity.

In the edible segment, refined palmolein edged-up by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 626 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 624. Groundnutoil closed unchanged at Rs 1,005 per 10 kgs.

Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold moved down by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 4,025 as compared to Rs 4,050 previously and castor oil commercial went down by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 835 from Rs 840 yesterday.
