While, groundnut oil continued its downtrend on selling pressure on the back of ample supply.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial regained modestly following renewed demand from shippers and soap manufacture.
Meanwhile, linseed oil moved down further on subdued offtake from paint and allied industries.
In futures, castorseeds market rose modestly amid speculative demand on the back of fresh export enquiries.
In the edible segment, Refined palmolein went up by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 555 from Monday's closing level of Rs 550. Groundnut oil declined by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 1,070 from Rs 1,080.
Turning to non-edible segment, Castorseeds bold climbed by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,450 from Rs 3,425, castor oil commercial also edged up by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 720 as against Rs 720. Linseed oil moved down by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 810 from Rs 815 yesterday.
Moving to futures, castorseed December contract resumed steady at Rs 3,770, later drifted to Rs 3,722 before rebounding to settle at Rs 3,815 as compared to Rs 3,770 previously, showing a gain of Rs 45 per tonne.
