A feeble western disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation extending up to 4.5 km a.S.L. Over Jammu and Kashmir and neighbourhood persists. Another western disturbance as an upper cyclonic circulation extending up to 4.5 km a.S.L. Lies over northeast Afghanistan and neighbourhood. Above two systems would move east northeastwards. The trough of low at mean sea level from Lakshadweep area to south Maharashtra coast now extends from Lakshadweep area and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea to south Gujarat coast across east central Arabian Sea. The other trough of low at mean sea level over southwest Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood now lies over southwest Bay of Bengal of Sri Lanka coast. Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Gangetic west Bengal and of Haryana and in remaining parts of Odisha. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha; appreciably above normal in some parts of east Rajasthan, Konkan, Goa and Marathwada; remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh and were above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, east Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and of coastal and north interior Karnataka. They were normal over the rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 5 deg C has been recorded at Hissar (Haryana) in the plains of the country.
