Repoll at 2 centre in Silchar on April 17

Repoll will be held in two polling centres in Silchar Lok Sabha seat on April 17, Cachar district Returning Officer Gakul Mohan Hazarika said today.

According to the Election Commission order the two centers are polling station no 111 at Jagai Mothura ME school in Lakhipur assembly and polling station no 59 at Balighat Nimna Prathamik Vidyalaya in Borkhola assembly seat, Hazarika said.

The EC order for fresh polls was due to EVM malfunctioning on voting day on April 12, he said.
