Residents protest against power cuts

People took to the streets and blocked the GT Road in Sahibabad area today in protest against erratic power supply.

Vehicular traffic was blocked for over an hour as the Shalimar Garden residents staged a sit-in alleging unscheduled power outages, police said.

They later agreed to lift the blockade after being pacified by the officials, they said.
