Revenue dept official suspended in J-K

A revenue department official was suspended today for dereliction of duty in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.

"On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, Khursheed Amad Girdawar Ali Mohammad Dar, who was working as Naib Tehsildar, Nagam, has been placed under suspension with immediate effect for dereliction of duties," an official spokesman said.

He said the Deputy Commissioner had assigned magisterial duty to Dar but he did not comply with the order.

"For non-compliance of orders, he has been put under suspension," the spokesman added.
