Revenue official arrested for taking bribe

A revenue official was arrested today by the state Anti-Corruption Bureau for taking bribe of Rs 1,000 in Bikaner district.

Rajendra Kumar Swami, posted at Ridmalsar Rajpurohitan area, had demanded the bribe from one Alokvardhan Singh to issue a land-related document, IG ACB Smita Srivastava said.

After verification of the complaint, a trap was laid and the official was arrested, Srivastava said here.
