Revenue official caught accepting bribe

Haryana Vigilance Bureau today arrested a revenue official for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 1,000 from a person to approve a report regarding his land property.

Shish Pal, Patwari in Fatehabad district, was held for taking bribe from a resident of Chobra village, a spokesman of the Bureau said.

A case has been registered against him under Prevention of Corruption Act in the police station of the Bureau at Hisar, he said.
