Rhino poachers held

Four rhino poachers, including a woman, were arrested today from Baghmari area under Jingia police station in Sonitpur district, police said.

The four were allegedly involved in rhino poaching in the northern bank of Brahmaputra in Kaziranga National Park.

Three .303 rifles were seized from their possession, the police said.

The poachers have been identified as Hajarat Ali (35), Rostam Ali (40), Atar Ali (65) and Hajar Begum (24).
