Rice basmati prices drifted by up to Rs 100 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale grains market today in the absence of buying support against sufficient stocks.
However, other grains continued to move in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said absence of buying support against adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on rice basmati prices.

In the national capital, rice basmati Pusa-1121 variety eased to Rs 4,700-5,900 from previous level of Rs 4,750-6,000 per quintal.
