Riot victim rape: Two accused sent to judicial custody

Two youths, arrested in connection with the gang-rape of a riot victim at a relief camp at Jogya Kheri village here, were today sent to 14 days' judicial custody.

The duty magistrate sent the accused -- Sachin and Sunil Kumar -- to judicial custody here last evening.

The girl, whose family was displaced from their home at Fugana village, was raped on November 2 and the accused were arrested yesterday after a complaint was lodged by the girl's father, police said.
