RJD to hold meet on June 5

After a dismal show at the
recently-concluded general elections, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has called a meeting on June 5 to chalk out its future plans, a senior party leader said today.
It was decided at the party core committee meeting in the state capital today in which its four newly-elected Lok Sabha members and all those candidates who lost from their parliamentary constituencies participated.
"We have authorised our leader Lalu Prasad to take necessary steps in the current political scenario at the national level. There is a need to unite secular forces in the country. Our party will be strengthened at the grassroots level," Singh, who lost the Lok Sabha elections from Vaishali constituency said.
