Railway Minister Mallikarjun Kharge today paid obeisance at the historic Dargah Sharif of the Sufi saint Hazrat Moinuddin Chishti at Ajmer.
Kharge offered a 'chadar' at the sufi saint's tomb and prayed for the peace, progress and prosperity of the nation, according to a release here.
The Railway Minister said that the Khwaja Saheb, popularly known as Gharib Nawaz, is a symbol of communal harmony and universal brotherhood.
The Dargah lies at the foot of the northern extremity of Taragarh hill. Its main attraction is the mausoleum containing the tomb of the saint.
