At least seven persons have been killed and five others injured when a truck hit two cars in northwest China's Qinghai Province, state media reported today.
The truck rammed a car from behind, pushing it forward to hit another trailer yesterday. The car then strayed to a sign board on the side, leaving all its five passengers dead, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
The truck then hit another car, injuring its four passengers. Meanwhile, two passengers who were in the truck died on the spot.
All the injured including a child are recuperating at a nearby hospital. Authorities are ascertaining the cause of the accident.
