Providing road connectivity to rural and far flung areas of Jammu and Kashmir is priority of the government, Minister for Roads and Buildings, Abdul Majid Wani has said.
"Road connectivity is imperative for development of all other sectors including tourism and government is committed for providing roads to rural, far flung areas of the state," Wani in Doda district yesterday.
Accompanied by Minister for Tourism and Culture, G A Mir and MLA Inderwal, G M Saroori, he said that erstwhile district Doda is endowed with pristine natural beauty which can only be explored by providing road connectivity.

The minister said development of tourist related infrastructure at these tourist spots will definitely help in improving the socio-economic status of the people living in these areas.
The government is committed to provide basic facilities like road connectivity, electricity, schools and health care to the people of the state, he said.
