Robber held

Police today claimed to have

solved two robbery cases with the arrest of a person in this connection.

The man identified as Iqbal, who is a member of Mehboob Pandey gang, has been arrested from Pragati Maidan area here, police said.

With his arrest, two cases of robbery including the one at Noida Expressway in which a South-African woman was robbed of Rs 1.15 crore, have been solved, police said.

Iqbal was previously involved in 23 cases of dacoity.

Police have recovered Rs 10 lakh cash, one countrymade pistol, two live cartridges and a mobile phone from the possession of the accused.
