Unidentified miscreants allegedly took away an ATM, containing Rs 26.76 lakh, of a nationalised bank at Bhainsawa, 60 kms from here, police said today.

Robbers uprooted the cash dispensing machine of a nationalised bank and fled with it late last night when the guard posted at the ATM outlet was sleeping on the rooftop, Jobner Thana SHO Babulal told PTI over phone.

The guard informed the police around 2:30 AM when he came to know about the theft, the SHO said.

The area was cordoned off to nab the accused, he said, adding that the banker also lodged an FIR at Jobner police station.
