Robin Thicke won't get joint-custody of son due to drugs

Singer Robin Thicke's estranged wife Paula Patton reportedly wants full custody of their son Julian.

Paula is concerned about the 37-year-old 'Blurred Lines' singer being around their three-year-old following his recent drug and alcohol revelations, reported Radar online.

"Paula will not allow Robin to be present in Julian's life if he is still drinking and using drugs. He needs to stop altogether," a source said.

Thicke recently revealed that Paula, who was his childhood sweetheart, left him due to his issues.

"I told my wife the truth. That's why she left me," he said.

Thicke added he couldn't remember what he had said about writing the hit song 'Blurred Lines' during promotion because he "had a drug and alcohol problem for the year".
 

Thicke went on to confess he was even high when he appeared on the Oprah show with his son.

Since then the singer has made it very clear he is no longer using drugs.
