Rohinabad tea garden closed

Suspension of work notice was put up at a tea garden in West Bengal's Alipurduar district today affecting its 1100 permanent and casual workers.

The authorities of Rohinabad tea estate, who put up the notice on the main gate of the garden this morning, alleged that the manager was attacked by the workers.

Joint labour commissioner Md Rizwan confirmed the putting up of the closure notice.
