Rooster creates trouble between neighbours

An 'intrusive' rooster has divided neighbours in Lakhimpur district.

Irked by their neighbour's rooster entering their chicken coop, Ishwardeen and his wife Ramguni have approached Nighasan police with a complaint.

After receiving a complaint on January 9, police have initiated a probe into the matter as it has led to daily problems between the two in the locality, SHO, Nighasan, Ram Kumar Yadav said.

The rooster has soured relations between the two families, police said, adding that Ramu has been asked not to let his rooster out to prevent any further problems.

The police could initiate "bound down process against the the two families if they continue to fight over the issue," police said.
