A 29-year-old notorious
rowdy P Lakshmanan was found dead with his throat slit near the Muruga temple here early today, police said.
Police detained four persons in connection with the murder and were interrogating.
Lakshmanan was allegedly involved in more than 20 cases of robbery and dacoity, police said.
