Unidentified criminals looted Rs 12 lakh from a petrol pump in Bihar's Vaishali district, police said today.
Rs 10,000 was later found under a heap of sand near the petrol pump.
The five armed criminals looted Rs 12 lakh from the employees of the petrol pump on Mahua road at gunpoint yesterday night, officer in-charge of Jandaha police station Om Prakash said.
A search is on for the criminals.
Possibility of the connivance of petrol pump employees is being probed, he said.
