Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh, who also holds the finance portfolio, today presented the Rs 3,950.92 crore budget for the current financial year in the Assembly.
According to a press note issued by the government, the chief minister said that a full budget could not be presented as the plan size for 2015-16 was yet to be finalised.
The estimates of non-plan transfer from the central finance commisson's recommendations were also not known, he said.
However, he said the plan size and allocation under the 14th Finance Commission award were now available, enabling him to present the budget for 2015-16.
