Rs 5 lakh seized in Bikaner

Unaccounted cash worth Rs 5.41 lakh was recovered from a car in Bikaner town of Rajasthan on Saturday, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, an election department team and the police searched a car, having a Punjab registration number, and recovered the cash near Bhinasar.

The cash has been seized after the driver could not give a satisfactory answer about the money, said Subhash Bijarnia, station house officer, Ganga Sahar, adding that the matter was being investigated.
