Rs 60 lakh goes missing from cash collecting van

Around Rs 60 lakh of a cash collection company was allegedly stolen from the firm's van this afternoon in central Delhi's Karol Bag area.

The money, collected from liquor shops, was kept in the van belonging to ESC company, police said.

Two employees of the company went to collect cash from a liquor shop while the guard and the driver went to drink water and forgot to lock the van, police said quoting the complaint.

When they came back they found that a box containing Rs 60 lakh was missing, police said.
