Developmental schemes worth Rs 7.54 crore had been implemented utilising his MPs Local Area Development fund in the union territory, Puducherry Lok Sabha member R Radhakrishnan of AINRC said today.
Out of the Rs 15 crores earmarked under the MPLAD scheme in the last three years, as much as Rs 7.54 crores had been utilised for evolving and implemeting the developmental schemes, he told reporters here.
Radhakrishnan further said he was among the seven Members of Parliament selected for a training programme on 'Trade and Politics' in the US from June 20.
He said the training was sponsored by the US Consulate and besides him, members from Odisha, Maharashtra and UP would also participate in the programme.
