Rs 8 lakh looted from auto firm Manager

The incident occurred near an ICICI Bank branch located not faraway from the Raj Bhavan. The robbers snatched a bag containing the cash from T Yadav Rao, Manager at a private firm and fled, they said.

Rao had withdrawn the money from HDFC Bank and was going to deposit the same with ICICI Bank, police said.

Police have launched a search for the robbers.
