The RSS today criticised the disruption of the CPM's press conference by a fringe Hindutva outfit, but also slammed the Left party for trying to blame the Sangh Parivar for the incident.
Yesterday, two members of a fringe Hindutva outfit barged into the CPI(M) headquarters and tried to "manhandle" party general secretary Sitaram Yechury. The Left party had blamed the RSS for the incident.
"It is a matter of record that RSS does not support such anti-social elements, nor such undemocratic methods of subverting any lawful activity," Sangh's Akhil Bhartiya Prachar Pramukh Manmohan Vaidya said in a statement.

"RSS also condemns the baseless attempt of CPI(M) to drag the Sangh's name in this incident," he added.
"This only indicates that CPI(M) is scared and worried about the continuous and unabated growth and impact of RSS in India," he said in the statement.
"On the contrary, RSS workers in Kerala are facing the brunt of Communist style of undemocratic ways of subverting truth and Communist style of hooliganism and lawlessness," he added.
