The ruling TRS in Telangana Tuesday decided to organise public meetings in the state from October 3, which would be addressed by party president and Caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
The public meetings would be organised at Nizamabad on October 3, Nalgonda on October 4, at Vanaparthi (near Mahabubnagar) on October 5 and at Warangal and Khammam on October 7 and 8, TRS sources said.
The meetings would be held as per the old districts (prior to reorganisation of districts in the state), they said.
Rao had kicked off the party's campaign for the coming Legislative Assembly polls in Telangana by addressing a public meeting at Husnabad near Karimnagar on September 7, a day after the dissolution of the Legislative Assembly in the state.
