Rupee drops 7 paise against US dollar to 64.11
The US dollar ended higher against the rupee at Rs 64.11/12 per dollar against last close of 64.04/05.
The pound sterling also finished firmly at Rs 85.89/91 at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange (forex) market here today.
