Mumbai police today detained a Russian national and his Indian friend for alleged indecent behaviour in Nariman Point area of south Mumbai.
The Russian national and the Indian woman were allegedly found in a compromising position near the promenade in Nariman Point area yesterday.
A video of the couple, shot by a passer-by, went viral.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 1) Manoj Sharma said both were detained today for inquiry, though they maintained that they were only kissing.
No charges have been pressed against them yet, he added.
