Ryan Gosling developing 'The Underwater Welder' as movie

Actor Ryan Gosling has come on board to produce a movie adaptation of Jeff Lemire's graphic novel "The Underwater Welder."

Ken Kao, and Anonymous Content will also be serving as producers, reported Variety.

The novels revolves around a man in the dangerous profession of underwater welding, who has a supernatural encounter at the bottom of the sea.

No actors, screenwriters, or director is attached with the project at this point.
