A music producer has sued Ryan Seacrest's production house along with NBC Universal for using his music in the background of the Kardashian family reality show.
The 38-year-old 'American Idol' host was sued by producer Jose Moreno and he is seeking at least USD 75,000 in damages, reported Radar online.
"Ryan Seacrest Productions, NBC Universal intentionally edited substantial portions of Jose Moreno's copyrighted musical works into television programmes which were publicly performed on prominent cable channels and viewed by millions of people. Defendants did so with no license from Jose Moreno, the sole copyright owner," Moreno said in court documents.
The case is scheduled to go to trial on December 2.
