The Rajasthan government has started collecting details of Muslim personnel posted in the various health centres of the state, in compliance with a communique by the Centre.

The Centre had, in a recent letter, to all states and Union Territories sought details of the Muslim personnel posted at medical sub-centres, primary health centres (PHCs) and community health centres (CHCs) in view of its decision to implement the recommendations of Sachar Committee for the welfare of minority communities.

"The details will be forwarded to the Union Ministry of Health and Welfare within a month. The Rajasthan government's health department had yesterday written a letter to all chief medical and health officers of the state in this regard," B L Saini, joint director, administration of the state department, said.
