Sachin through to prequarters of Youth Boxing World C'ships
Asian Championships quarterfinalist Sachin (49kg) advanced to the prequarters of World Youth Boxing Championships with a comprehensive second-round victory in St. Petersburg, Russia today.
Sachin defeated Roumania's Petre Cosmin Girleanu 5-0 to advance to the next stage.
He joined Asian silver-medallist Ankush Dahiya (60kg), who notched up a hard-fought second-round win yesterday. Ankush had defeated Germany's Nick Bier 3-2.
