Nagpur was allegedly attacked by a former colleague who was sacked for drinking while on duty, police said on Monday.

A hunt is on for accused Nitin Dhodmare who hit plant in charge Surendra Mandpe with a rod and injured him believing the latter had a role to play in his sacking, a Kanhan police station official said.
