Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today said Congress leaders who wanted to gain cheap publicity by disrupting Sangat Darshan programmes of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal should be ready to meet people's ire.
In a statement here, SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal said the development being unleashed in the state could not be stopped by frustrated leaders of Punjab Congress.
"People know how Sangat Darshan programmes, which allow ordinary citizens to put forward their demands directly to the Chief Minister, have changed their lives and resulted in instant development of their areas," Sukhbir said.
