Sandeep Sharma (co-driver Varun Davessar) are set to win the 'Extreme Car' category of the sixth Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare Rally, according to the provisional results announced here today.
While Sharma in his Maruti Gypsy is set to win the title on debut, Sanjay Aggarwal (Venu Ramesh Kumar) and last year's champion Amanpreet Ahluwalia (Sudeep Haldar) are second and third as per the provisional results.
The final results with timings will be announced here tomorrow.
Double runs on two special stages took place on the concluding day of the rally which started from Bangalore on Aug 5.
The rally travelled through Chitradurga, Davangere and Hospet before completing the 2000 km journey in Goa.
