Sania-Barbara lose in Indian wells quarters

India's Sania Mirza and her women's doubles partner Barbara Strycova crashed out of the BNP Paribas Open after going down in straight sets in the quarter-finals here.

The Indo-Czech pair, who had won the Cincinnati Open and Toray Pan Pacific Open last year, suffered a 4-6, 4-6 loss against Switzerland's Martina Hingis and Taiwan's Yung-jan Chan in the quarter-final match that lasted an hour and 20 minutes here.
