Saree showroom of Delhi resident looted

A saree showroom of a Delhi resident at Chopla Market here was looted last night, police said today.

The robbery came to light this morning when Pinku, a resident of Delhi Gate area, went to open his shop and found it ransacked. He told police that sarees worth of lakhs of rupees have been looted from the showroom, a police officer said.

A case has been registered against unknown persons at the Kothwali police station. "We are investigating the case and the accused would be arrested soon," the officer added.
