Sathiyamurthy is new TN intelligence chief

Tamil Nadu government today posted senior IPS officer K N Sathiyamurthy as the chief of state intelligence, replacing S Davidson Devasirvatham.

The state Home Department, in a notification, announced the changes. However, new posting of Devasirvatham had not been announced immediately.

Prior to the latest posting, Sathiyamurthy was the Inspector-General of Police (Central Zone), Tiruchirappalli, and he has held several other senior positions.
