The Bengal circle of State Bank of India Officers' Association (SBIOA) has demanded regulation of the working hours and introduction of five-day week in the banking industry.
At the 48th annual general meeting of the Association held here last night, the officers' body said it would urge upon the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU), the umbrella organisation of all the bank trade unions, to relentlessly pursue the matter, SBIOA said in a statement.
