Himachal Pradesh Chief minister Virbhadra Singh today termed as "biggest-ever" victory of democratically-elected governments the Supreme Court's verdict on Arunachal Pradesh, saying it is also a message for those trying to topple Congress-ruled dispensations in the states.

Hailing the apex court's verdict on Arunachal Pradesh as the "biggest-ever" victory of democratically-elected governments, he said the judiciary prevails and the law of the land is above all conspiracies.

Singh, who is facing a disproportionate assets case and had accused BJP of attempting to topple his government, said the judiciary prevails and the law of the land is above all conspiracies.

"SC verdict for the restoration of Congress government in Arunachal Pradesh is biggest ever victory of democratically elected governments.
 

"It is a message for those who are trying to topple Congress ruled states. Judiciary still prevails and 'law of the land' is above all conspiracies," he said on twitter.

Singh is facing arrest from Income Tax authorities and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a corruption case against him.

He has accused the Narendra Modi government and the BJP of conspiring to topple his government, after they did so Arunachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Singh was elected chief minister of Himachal Pradesh in December 2012 and elections are due in the hill state later next year.
