Scattered showers today occurred in eastern Rajasthan where Dungarpur received a maximum 60mm rainfall, the weather office said.
The western districts of Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jodhpur, Churu, Sriganganagar and Hanumangarh, on the other hand, remained hot and humid.
City of lakes Udaipur saw moderate rainfall of 53mm while Ghari and Sagwara received 50mm each. Trace rainfall was reported at places like Nadbai, Lohariya, Ganeshpur, Deval, Salumber, Jagpura, Sadulshahar, and Srivijaynagar.
Bikaner, meanwhile, recorded the hottest temperature in the state at 41 degrees Celsius followed by Sriganganagar (40), Churu (38.2) and Jaipur (34).
No major change in the movement of the south west monsoon is expected in Rajasthan over the coming 24 hours, according to the MeT forecast.
