SCCL buys Rs 12 crore shovel from BEML

Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) has purchased a ten cubic metre shovel with cutting edge technology from BEML for Rs 12 crore.

The machine, fitted with auto fire detection and suppression system and auto-centralised lubrication systems, has been deployed at RG II area of OC-3 project of SCCL, BEML said in a statement.

The equipment is driven by electric motors with faster cycle timings, it said.
