School bus kills 12-year-old boy

A 12-year-old boy was killed and his friend injured after being hit by a school bus when they were playing on the roadside, the police said today.

The incident happened yesterday when the drier was parking the bus of a school near Vivekananda Camp.

The two children were rushed to a hospital where Rahul was declared dead while his friend, 11-year-old Jagdish, is currently undergoing treatment. The children were residents of Vivekananda Camp.

The driver was arrested, they added.
