School children injured as chemicals burst during expo

Four school students today sustained burns when some chemicals burst during a science exhibition near here, police said.

The fifth standard students of Dhanuvachapuram government school had gone to see the exhibition at a nearby college, they said.

The students, two boys and two girls, were rushed to the state-run SAT hospital here, hospital authorities said, adding, their condition is stable.

They sustained minor burn injuries, they added.
