School children injured in accident

Thirteen school children were injured when an autorickshaw carrying them capsized at Thenpathi in Nagapattinam district today, police said.

The mishap occurred when the driver of the vehicle lost control when he applied sudden brake.

The children had been admitted to hospials.

The driver was taken into custody, police said.
