School driver shot at for opposing eve-teasing; 2 arrested

Two persons have been arrested for reportedly shooting at a school driver who tried to oppose eve-teasing by them in Shamli district, police said Sunday.

Sani Malik was shot at after he opposed eve-teasing by a group of six youths at Bhanera Jat village here on

August 27, Circle Officer Arvind Rathore said.

Police have arrested Vikrant and Dev Malik on charges of attempt to murder, while a search is on for the remaining four youths.
