School headmaster arrested for sexual harassment

Babhulgaon police in the district today arrested headmaster of a Zilla Parishad primary school at village Nandura Khurd for allegedly sexually harassing five girl-students.

Headmaster Ramesh Tumane (50) was arrested after the parents of the girls filed separate complaints.

"We have registered a case under IPC and Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences Act," said Yavatmal superintendent of police Raj Kumar this evening.
